Wood Badge, for me, was like going to the MTC all over again.

The following series discusses the Purposes of the Aaronic Priesthood* in terms of Scouting's Ideals and Methods. Just like the Ideals, this is a list of character attributes to develop, not of boxes to check. The Purposes also overlap one another, much like the eight Methods. Scouting provides a flexible structure in which to build these attributes as our boys and young men grow into adulthood, ready to positively contribute to society; to act and not be acted upon.
